Het TREND onderzoek (een afkorting voor Trauma RElated Neuronal Dysfunction) is vooral gericht op onderzoek naar het complex regionaal pijn syndroom (CRPS), ook wel bekend als posttraumatische dystrofie of reflex sympatische dystrofie. TREND is een samenwerkingsverband van diverse Nederlandse universiteiten en bedrijven. Het TREND onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd met financiële steun van de overheid.

The TREND project (short for Trauma RElated Neuronal Dysfunction) is engaged in the research on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), also known as posttraumatic dystrophy or reflex sympathetic dystrophy. TREND is a consortium of several Dutch universities and private companies. TREND is supported by a government grant.
